We opened in Lodi because the Central Valley deserves better food. Not another chain. Not another place cutting corners with pre-made ingredients and frozen patties. Lodi deserves what we've been doing since 2017 — real Mediterranean food made from scratch, every single day, using family recipes and the freshest ingredients we can find.
Everything at our Lodi location is made the same way we make it at every Yafa Hummus kitchen. Our hummus follows grandpa's recipe from 1951 — garbanzo beans soaked, cooked, cooled, and blended fresh. Our falafel is shaped by hand every morning from whole garbanzo beans soaked for 24 hours with fresh parsley, garlic, onions, jalapeños, and spices. Our chicken is 100% halal, marinated in-house for 48 hours with spices imported from Jordan and Turkey. Every sauce — the tahini, the tzatziki, the garlic sauce — is made in our kitchen.
We use the highest quality produce, chopped in-house daily. We cook with real olive oil. We don't cut corners — we do the work.
