When we brought Yafa Hummus to Dublin, the goal was simple — give the Tri-Valley the same from-scratch Mediterranean food we've been making since 2017. No watered-down version. No shortcuts for a new market. The same family recipes, the same standards, the same commitment to real ingredients.
Everything at our Dublin location is made from scratch daily. Our hummus follows grandpa's recipe from 1951 — garbanzo beans soaked, cooked, cooled, and blended fresh every morning. Our falafel is shaped by hand from whole garbanzo beans soaked for 24 hours with fresh parsley, garlic, onions, jalapeños, and spices. Our chicken is 100% halal and marinated in-house for 48 hours with spices imported from Jordan and Turkey. Every sauce — the tahini, the tzatziki, the garlic sauce — is made in our kitchen.
The East Bay has plenty of food options. What it didn't have was this — a family-owned kitchen that makes everything by hand, every day, and serves food we're proud to eat ourselves.
